Our mission
HerStories Studio is dedicated to turning films, documentaries, and digital stories into ethical revenue streams. We create paid creative opportunities for women and girls, using storytelling as a tool for human rights, social change, and economic empowerment. We believe impact work must also be financially sustainable.
About the founder
Sobia Ali is an award-winning Pakistani journalist, documentary filmmaker, and human rights activist with over a decade of experience. HerStories Studio is a natural extension of her activism, building pathways for women to become financially independent through their creativity.
What we do
HerStories Studio works at the intersection of storytelling, human rights, and women’s economic empowerment. Our work includes films & documentaries, digital storytelling and media labs, creative and media skill-building for women and girls, and revenue-generating storytelling projects through ethical partnerships.
